Wedding glasses and napkins
University Catering

We are the catering service for the entire University of Iowa campus and we also cater private home events.  Events catered at the IMU include weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, annual football banquets, dance marathon and summer orientations.  We have catered to well-known celebrities and dignitaries including President Barack Obama.  Our student staff consists of waiters, bartenders, Kinnick Suite attendants and delivery drivers.  There is also room for advancement in Catering as we often promote from within for our student Lead and Manager positions.

We base our shifts on your availability (i.e. around class time, extra-curricular activities, study groups, etc.) and email  your weekly schedule out each Thursday. You can also ask other catering staff cover your shift if something comes up last minute.

We offer free food with our breaks and many times the opportunity to eat the high quality menu items we provide our clients. This environment is a great way to meet friends and have fun! We work behind the scenes at Kinnick Stadium and serve the teams after their training. We have worked with celebrities including President Obama; we had the chance to meet him before his speech. This can also be a great way to network and enhance your resume through the clients we serve.
